Happy Wednesday! I have another makeup portfolio update to share! This time, it is from the second time that I did Makeup, Hair, and Grooming for Snacku in San Francisco! You may remember the first time – you can see those images here! The first shoot took place on my birthday, which was fun! This shoot went even more smoothly, because the same team was reassembled, so we worked together like a well-0iled machine!
Once again, John Thatcher was the photographer, shooting leather jackets and other fashionable attire made by Yoshimi House of the brand Snacku. Floriane from Look Modeling Agency and Will Bloxham modeled the designs and did a great job!
Here are some of my favorite images from the shoot!
Because of the trust I had established with Yoshimi, I was given a little bit of freedom of artistic direction with Floriane’s makeup. She wanted something very clean, and I suggested the bold orange lip. I love that here, it looks bright and fun, but as you will see below, in black and white, it looks bad ass!
I also like that we switched Willie’s hair up a bit from last time, and I was able to give him a bit of a pompadour in addition to the normal grooming/shine control. I think it makes this look book more fresh, and it was fun!
I love the gritty feel of the outdoor photos, and the contrast they give to the in studio shots. I think they both do the brand great justice!
Well, there you have it! A few updates to my portfolio! Stay tuned to Friday, where I have a challenge from Christa, from Monday’s podcast interview, and then plenty more other posts to come, including a lot of portfolio updates!
I hope you enjoyed my Makeup, Hair, and Grooming for Snacku in San Francisco portfolio update as much as I enjoyed adding it to the mix!
