Los Angeles Makeup Artist Portfolio Update
I think I’ve finally hit my stride since moving to LA! I have been really doing a lot of shoots and work as a makeup artist, which is why we’re beyond due for a Los Angeles Makeup Artist Portfolio Update! I am also taking the time to update my actual portfolio (not just the blog) though that still needs a lot of backtracking to get current… And I should probably share that I now have an instagram just for makeup artistry, after resisting it for so long! I realized that around here, aside from the jobs my agent has sent me, people look more at instagram pages than websites, so I relented, since most people probably don’t want to see posts about my podcast and such when they are deciding whether or not to book me as a makeup artist! I can’t remember whether I mentioned it in the post for my last update, so here it is now, just in case! So my personal Instagram is still going strong, and I’ve added my makeup one to it – check it out, especially if you like seeing behind the scenes! Alright, without further ado, here’s my Los Angeles Makeup Artist Portfolio Update!

Roasted Tomatillo Avocado Dip/Dressing Recipe
You asked for it (or at least most of you voted “yes” to getting it, on my Instagram stories poll), you’re getting it! Believe it or not, this roasted tomatillo avocado dip/dressing recipe was inspired by a bachelor party! Tommy went to one a couple years ago where they made this (are you impressed? I was!) roasted tomatillo dip, which I tried to create from Tommy’s instructions, and then put on top of a taco salad!

Bold Moves Podcast Episode 179 Kate Galliett
This week’s guest, for Bold Moves Podcast Episode 179 Kate Galliett has made some bold moves! Her business was easy and successful, and her home was beautiful. She couldn’t ask for a better place to be, but she torched it all so I could create a more soul-happiness focused, fulfilling life. Does Lifting Weights Bulk You Up?
I am often asked what the best workout is, and my answer is usually “Whatever one you will actually DO,” because even if you have a masterfully designed program by the best exercise physiology team in the world, if you hate it, dread it, and then never do it, it’s the worst workout because you don’t get results for what you don’t do! If someone’s at the “I’ll do anything” phase, then I generally suggest something with some weight training involved… But then I get the question, especially from women: “does lifting weights bulk you up?”
