I started this podcast back in September of 2016. At the end of that year, I was very tempted to do a retrospective compilation of my favorite episodes… Only there weren’t very many episodes! Now that 2017 is coming to a close, I am excited to share with you Bold Moves Podcast Episode 131: Business BAs!
With so many incredible guests, it was insanely hard for me to do just ONE compilation episode. In fact, it was even hard to narrow this down and limit it! One thing that helped was that some of my precious files disappeared, so it limited my options. But the other thing that helped me spread the love a bit was my decision to divide my retrospective compilation into two parts, starting with a selection of quotes and conversations from inspiring entrepreneurs. That’s how Bold Moves Podcast Episode 131: Business BAs was born! I used the term “BAs” because I wanted to use “grandparent-friendly” language, but you know exactly what I mean! 😉
Since my editing skills are limited, I wasn’t able to do introductions to each person, or to divide it into sections of themes, like I had been hoping to, but I think you will still find it quite valuable!
And for anyone who hasn’t been a longtime listener, here are links to each of the business BAs” episodes, in case you want to do some further exploration beyond Bold Moves Podcast Episode 131: Business BAs!
Here’s the YouTube video for you!
The incredible Nicole Zamora is the next segment. She was a Bricemaid, AND, after episode 25 aired, she and her husband (and their salon) won an amazing grant in a competition from UPS! Check out the videos below!
Next up is the first of our money mindset coaches, Caren Fern, from episode 39! Her story is incredible, and her laugh is infectious! I’d say that graduating high school with over a hundred thousand dollars in the bank qualifies her to be part of this roundup of Bold Moves Podcast Episode 131: Business BAs!
Devyn Sisson was incredibly brave to share her story in episode #67… Bravery definitely helps make you part of the Bold Moves Podcast Episode 131: Business BAs, AND since her episode aired, she opened an amazing restaurant in Culver City with her brother. The food’s delicious!
Somehow, the fact that Carol Hampshire talks about swimming in cold, shark-infested waters in episode #49 didn’t come up in this highlight reel, but if you want to hear about that, you should check out her episode!
Quentin Allums knows all about how to stand out. It didn’t come up in the highlights, but he used to say he wasn’t feeling LinkedIn… But he has given it a second shot, and now has over a million views on his LinkedIn videos! Whoa! I’m guessing he’s had a change of heart since episode #87!
Zack & Jen McColluck are debt-free, thanks to both some extreme measures, as well as some that are a little friendlier and easier to follow. Check out Episode #97 for more tips from this inspiring couple!
This guy has definitely earned the title of BA, and has HUGE goals of helping ten million people improve their lives. AND his daughter is also one of the Bold Moves Podcast Episode 131: Business BAs – how cool is that? Check out Mark Sisson’s interview from episode 109!
Of course as part of a retrospective, you think about things from the past and how they impact you. Over the course of time since episode one, I love how things have improved in my life – I got married, rebranded (like the new headshots and cover art?), started delegating things (like the podcast editing, with the exception of this episode and next week’s), launched a makeup academy and a website with my favorite products, and so much more!
There are a couple giveaways still rolling – feel free to enter if you haven’t yet! The first is from last week’s guest, Emily Ann Peterson!
Plus I’m also offering a book giveaway on my last post! For your chance to win a copy of Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life head over to my other post or just check it out below!
What are some of your favorite things to look back on over the course of 2017?
